Squirrel this has got to be the coolest project for an air hat i have ever seen! You should start fabin these babies up, and selling them there that cool

you have inspired me to make one. Now i need to go to a junk yard

LOL, no interest in fabbing them for money at this point, it seems like a pretty niche market.

No the scoops and tubes are all the stock pieces from the Dakota, they just don't seal tightly. I'm looking to see if I can force all that on-rushing air down the TB, without letting it escape.

As the truck determines fuel trims and injector pulsewidth by air temps and density, I'm trying to push as much air into the TB as possible.

K&N, don't know if paper can handle the abuse.

K&N filter the only way to go, especially in a ramair setup
Your probably going to need a new tune with this btw
At freeway speeds it will be running lean

or 24# injectors.

The only way that you can get the correct tune for this mod is to send hemifever your A/F ratio at WOT on the highway at 70 MPH. ANd you need a wideband A/F gauge to do that. THis is coming from hemifever.

I really want to do this, but I think it might be hard to find the Air Hats. Well, maybe not. Here in Arkansas, people drive lots of Daks. But finding an air hat that is in that good condition is next to impossible.
