Towing a ricer increases fuel economy?

I do hope there's undigested cannabis in that turd. I'm not a pot-head (gave that up in the late 1970s) but I figure being in hell would be a good time to take it back up.

put the dodge on the trailer and tow it with the ricer. it'll get twice the mileage and pull it as well if not better.

Drove the Mazda to work today. The first stop was the gas station. Wow! That tank is full before I hit the door to go inside and get my coffee, unlike the Dodge, where I can go in, get coffee and flirt with the counter-gal for a bit. This car is a BLAST to drive, and the women folk at work love it. Two words: Chick Magnet.

I beg to differ on the Tonneau cover. Without I get 13.5 with I get 15 I have tested and tested this and I always come up with the same numbers. REAL world numbers not some "they say" numbers..

I have to agree with the above statement! It does make sense that you get a mileage gain to due better aerodynamics and less wind drag. Also, an issue of Diesel power proved it as well. They used an 06 CTD quad cab short bed and did the same exact 250 mile route without and with the cover. Gained 1.13 MPG's. I'll take their word for it, they are very reputable magazine.

I noticed a slight improvement on my 318ci V8 1995 Dakota back when I had it. Got it without a tonneau cover, had a cheap one put on before I went to college, and it did improve mileage slightly.

Wouldn't know on the Ram, as it had it's current cover when I bought it. I'm assuming it helps as well, although I'm sure it only helps at highway speeds.

looks like you'll have to change your name then, funny thing is I sold my VW for a Dodge, I sure do miss the fuel economy though.
