that they don't fit over my 99 rams spindles
Is it possible that the powder coating is interfering here?

Ive powder coated over 200 pieces of my Indy myself including the spindles & see no way that it could interfer with mounting those rims.

I have no idea how 'tight' of a fit the SS/T wheels are around the spindles, hell, I don't even know if our wheels are hub centric, or lug centric..... (which ones locate the wheel so it is centered on the axis of rotation.) Just tossing it out there.

And yes, I have seen some of the stuff you have done to your truck. VERY nice.. Something I may have to start working on here eventually..... right now though, it is a daily (only) driver...... (long story.) So, no taking it off the road for any appreciable length of time.

They are junk and cracked and there is nothing you can do except... I'll have to take them off you're hands since they are worth absolutley nothing. Send them to Aurora, Indiana 47001. I'll even pay the shipping.

Nice one Purple!

Sorry Hey You, wasnt trying to put down your thought, just saying I cant see the pc interfering.

I took pics earlier of my stock rims so I could see the clearance. Top/bottom as mentioned there is lots of room, but the tie rods do look pretty close. Ive had problem keeping wheel weights on when getting new tires on my stock rims depending on where the installer mounted them.
Some shops put them on the lip & they will get knocked off.
Depending on if you have new tie rods maybe not the same design?

I wouldnt mind seeing pics of these rims too

Thanks, actually, the center caps for the Indy / SS/T wheels are the same caps for the regular 16" sport wheels, so I just swapped the caps over.

Bigjohn- ever get any pics? I am still interested to see why they are not bolting up.

Thanks for the help guys. it maybe like you said and the sst's could have a smaller center cap. because from the look of it and from what i measured the sst rims have a smaller opening
I will try to get the truck up and post some pics so you guys can take a look at it. but like every one else is saying i don't see why it doesn't fit
thanks
