how do you hook up a remote starter SWITCH?
hey you said to hook it to the battery and the starter relay. but idk where the starter rlay is. i have an electronic igntion system with seperate coil, rite? if so, directions are: disconnect the primary wire from the battery terminal of the ignition coil (is that the boot on top of the coil?).Remove the high tension lead from the center of the distributor (the what??) and ground it as shown.
Hook one lead to power, and the other lead to the starter solenoid. Down on the starter. Should be two terminals on the starter. One large one, that comes from the battery (or PDC.... as the case may be) and the control wire. (which might be brown....) Hook the other terminal of your starter switch to the control wire terminal.
As for the coil, just disconnect the electrical connectors on it. Don't worry 'bout the coil wire.
