So among the hours of research and diggin thru sites i've come across very little info, and conflicting feedback, on chips, tuners, and flashed pcm upgrades. Would like a lil feedback from everyone on some suggestions to squeeze some more hp out of the beast.

Got a 99 2500 ram v10 (gas) magnum with a throttle body spacer, k/n filter, and catback exhaust with a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift sittin pretty on 36 inch mickey thompsons.

 

Ok take the paper weight (tb spacer) off they only work on CARB motors not Fuel injected.

Yep, throttle body spacer does nothing on these engines, just lightens your wallet.

Second the Hemifever tune.

What gears you got in the diffs? Manual or automagic?

 

thanks for the tip on the tb spacer. was on the truck when i bought it. it has 4.10 gears on it, dana 60 on the front and spicer 70 in the rear, and its an automatic trans. As for hemifever I have read up a lil on his posts and am very interested. now would I be getting the "can" tuning from him since I only have some bult ons or would a custom be an option?

 

Custom isn't necessary yet. The canned tune will do ya just fine.

 

thank you so much should have posted days ago instead of spending countless hours infront of google. local 4x4 shop isn't worth much cuz all they do is google everything and don't have that much off hand experience.
