squeak at low speed turning...
I have a high pitched intermittent squeak or chirp coming from the front end of the vehicle at low speed when I turn the wheel small amounts.
It will not do it at a dead stop, so I can't get out of the vehicle to hear exactly where it's coming from. It is also inaudible at faster than parking lot speeds.
Given that the truck won't squeak on a stopped turn leads me to believe I can probably rule out the PS pump, but maybe not.
I'm leaning toward ball joint or maybe wheel bearing, but the last wheel bearing that went out sounded more like a hum that changed pitch as I got faster and was always present.
Perhaps it's a pulley or belt issue.

If I could hear the squeak I'd be more comfy guessing.
It just occurred to me to ask: Does this squeak hang around if you keep the wheel turned, or is it only while the steering is in motion? Does it squeak once per wheel revolution, at a higher or lower rate than wheel rotation, or just once unless the road surface causes motion?
Have you tried bouncing on the bumper to see if that will cause the noise? I should've asked that up front, but it's habit with me to do that whenever there's a front end noise because shocks and coil springs tend to squeak at times so that bit in what passes for my brain was already reset.

Squirrels has a 4x2. Unless you are an off-roader, you don't really need 4x4 down in Texas.
When I took my truck in for the exact same problem, about 1 month after I purchased it (that was 2 years and 11 months ago), both the u-joints AND ball joints needed replacing. After I got it back, no squeak.

Better not be the driveshaft u-joints, I just replaced those damn things about 20K ago when I had a gear swap.
no 4x4, so no ujoints in the front axle. No axle...hehe
