Shaking at 35 to 45 mph
#11
Many things can cause a vibration. From a bad u-joint, to an engine miss. Isolating it between the steering wheel, or the seat, will give a hint of which end of the truck to look at. A steering wheel vibration would point to something in the front. Oddly enough..... A bad U-joint in the rear driveshaft will be more of a seat of the pants vibration..... Rotating the tires, and seeing if anything changes, will let ya know if it is a tire problem.
So, the question stands. Where is the vibration felt most? Steering? Or Seat? And does a tire rotation change anything?

Well,it feels like the whole truck is shaking at around 35-45 miles per hr then goes away then does little surges at 55 to 60 cruising speed, not when im accelerating. Not sure what s up. Just bought this truck 2 weeks ago and dont know much about it and these problems, never had problems like these in other trucks. Thanks for any heads up,James
