come to think of it. I don't think it was 83. I think it was 38. Because I have an IN/LBS torque wrench and I think I set it at 460. And I don't think you can crank 83 ft lbs on an in/lbs wrench.

Make sure those Mopar ones will fit under the stock valve covers, you might have to smash the oil baffles down a bit.

Hey guy's thanks for the tip but I already have the Mopar valve covers for it. Well if I was to go buy the same from HS it would be the same price or more up here, the Hs adjustable do NOT come as a kit you have to buy the push-rods and rocker pedestals, nuts, separate, price it out for yourself. If you can get this same kit for $200 let me know and I will send you down the money. To get a good idea what is out there for Mopar/performance parts and prices check out this site.

http://www.jimsautoparts.com/mopar_p...uck_magnum.htm

There price and stock seam to be correct for whats still available from Mopar performance parts.

From H/S site
http://www.harlandsharp.com/dodge_magnum.htm

dodge magnum v8 3/8 stud conversion
Fits
1992 to 2003 5.2/5.9 Dodge Magnum

Special Notes:
* Required the installation of guide plates and 3/8 rocker studs
* Stud and guide plate conversion kits are available

On the subject of roller rockers, what are your chances of dropping a push rod into the engine of you bump it, can it even happen? And the valves are attached to the springs so they can't fall, correct?
I'm thinking about installing my 1.7's tomorrow.

^^^^ you will be fine, you can pull the push rod out, but it cant fall into the lifter vally

just make sure it still on the lifter, but just taking the rockers off and on there will be no problem

Just about impossible to drop a pushrod into the lifter valley, Pull the old one straight out install new ones, make sure that you can tell it's in the lifter, Make sure u soak all parts in oil for at least 30 min before installing and use assy lube were needed. Valves will not fall into the cyld
