Nothing you're telling us would cause pinging at first blush... Are you sure it's not pinging? Have you changed the belly pan gasket?

Hey Ben I bet if u take a video and post it on here it could give the guys a better listen to see what it may be. I heard this right after he changed the gasket. It doesn't sound like pinging its more of a really fast paced knocking like the bottom end is hitting the oil pan or more believably maybe a windage screen if it has one?? But ill help post a video to see if u can get more feedback from the pros here haha. Ignore your buying new oil and well tear it out again.
