is it a temporary knock or a permanent knock?
when i replaced my oil pump i put the dust cover on wrong and the flex plate hit it, causing a permanent knock. redoing the dust cover correctly fixed it.

no it goes away about 15 min of driving it but it sounds like it is coming from underneath i put a senthetic blend it i don't know if that would cause that or not it is a steady knock then it kinda makes a gurgling knock but when i put it in gear its not has bad or stops but park its there until it warms up

What's the oil pressure at when you start it and after it warms up? How many miles on the engine? If I read your post right it's quieter under load (in gear) and louder when not (in park)?

Is the oil level up to snuff? Pressure should go UP with RPM, especially with a new oil pump.

Whats the pressure at idle when warm?

Sounds like an oil delivery problem if oil pressure drops with higher RPM's.
