Default Son of a ....gun

Truck is sitting in the shop you see. Getting her all put back together right. I reach over grab the new oil pump and proceed to open the box. Not a very funny joke (insert a name her). What do you suspect I find.... none other than some used pos. So now I wait for a new one.

That's one of those moments you wish you could punch someone through the phone.

I had that happen with brake shoes once. Unfortunately, unsavory folks will buy a part and put the old one(s) back in the box and say "they didn't fit" or some bs like that, get their money back, and the parts person will put it back on the shelf and sell it to someone else.

I did not buy the part. Because that had happened to me in the past I always check the part before I leave the store. Back when Advance kept their K&N filters in the boxes, I purchased one got it home and it was a Purolator. Someone swapped them and payed ten dollars for a fifty dollar filter. Luckily I knew the guys so it was no big deal to get it replaced. That is a complete lack of intestinal fortitude. Do people not realize that hurts everyone in the "end" (pun intended).
