I bought some halogens for $20 that fit in the stock spot. If I ever make it to the JY, I'll pick up some stock fog lights and modify them.

The way I see it, if you don't want them behind the grill, nor want a grill guard (and I'm assuming that means no bull bar either), then you got two choices:

Light bar up top:

or light bar on front:

I got a new Dodge kit that I did not use on my 2000. It goes in the stock bumper. Lights, brackets, wiring, relay, headlight switch with fog switch. What would have come from Dodge. $175 + ride. Any help?

you could always build a headache rack. this gives you alot of room for lights

That light bar on ebay is made by randy ellis and is the only light bar you can get for a 2nd gen. It's only made for the 2500's but they said you can make it fit a 1500, you just gotta drill holes. I just with they had directions on their site so I could see where to drill them and if it would be hard to do.
