detroit tru-trac limited slip. not cheap.

another option is a powertrax noslip locker. its cheaper and is a do it yourself lunchbox locker that installs inside the carrier. however - if its your intention to roast tires i wouldn't recommend this. they're not bulletproof.

Well if you want to beat on it then your options are not going to be cheap.

up until a month or so ago, i'd have said you can beat on this one with all your might and never break it. however, someone posted a thread about it recently where he was using it in truck pulls and was unhappy with it, and eaton/detroit was not as cooperative in replacing it as he expected. i was only surprised that anyone could break one.

edit - i doubt that he broke it, i think he just got a bad one.

edit again - if he broke it, then they're not what they used to be. if it was a bad one, then they're not what they used to be, and the cost to you - the consumer - is really high, because the labor to remove/reinstall a replacement is a lot of $$$.

they're not very mild mannered on the street, but if you want brute strength, this is it.
