I just learned a new trick, for an old dog that's an accomplishment. Anyway, Thanks to HeyYou and dhvaughan for their reply to my question in another post. I receive "P done" when I do the ignition trick for codes, then display returns to trip meter. That's it. Am i missing something ?

If it doesn't give you any other codes. The PCM thinks nothing is wrong.... Is the check engine lite on?

 

No, surprisingly I have had almost no problems with this truck, but, if there were something wrong I would like to take care of it now instead of the interstate

it means there are no CEL codes, and as far as the computer is concerned - there is nothing wrong with your truck.

be patient, its a dodge. you'll get your chance.

as said, Pdone is the end of the display. as opposed to a long list like...
