Hi all new guy here with some questions
True it is just an LSD although i dont think it was standard on all of them I see several on here talking about their open diff. Anyhow does anyone know what kind of an offset I will need to fit 37" tires with a 7" lift? Will the factory 17" wheels I have work without rubbing or will I have to get a different set?
the factory 17s should have pleny of backspacing.
37" tires doesnt mean much, what you really need to pay attention to the width, cause thats whats gonna make or break it for you.
i know 33x12.50-17s will clear an offroad ram on the factory 17" rims with no lift in the front, and seeing that the 12.50s are 12.50s all day long, and not like their metric counterparts, you should be ok with 37x12.50-17s
When a truck is not in 4x4, then you are driving around in a RWD vehicle. That is bad for snow and ice. Add to the fact that the bed is not heavy, that adds to the dilemma.
Use 4WD when it is snowy out.

I am a ways away from having the money to buy my lift but just got a hit on a ad I posted that might get me alot closer to my goal
You're probably right, i know these 12.50s now do seem pretty wide on 33's.
