the factory 17s should have pleny of backspacing.

37" tires doesnt mean much, what you really need to pay attention to the width, cause thats whats gonna make or break it for you.

i know 33x12.50-17s will clear an offroad ram on the factory 17" rims with no lift in the front, and seeing that the 12.50s are 12.50s all day long, and not like their metric counterparts, you should be ok with 37x12.50-17s

When a truck is not in 4x4, then you are driving around in a RWD vehicle. That is bad for snow and ice. Add to the fact that the bed is not heavy, that adds to the dilemma.

Use 4WD when it is snowy out.

Ya I am running 33x12.50 right now stock height, I kinda got screwed over when I first bought the truck the salesman told me it had a 3" lift and me knowing nothing of this truck at the time believed him since it did seem to sit higher than others. Oh well its paid for now just got my title in the mail today woohoo lol. So will 37x12.50 look like pizza cutters? I know my 33x12.50's look pretty wide to me but IDK with 37"s

Definately noticed that. Sounds like we are supposed to have a pretty bad winter where I live so at least I have one 4x4 rig to count on.

I am a ways away from having the money to buy my lift but just got a hit on a ad I posted that might get me alot closer to my goal

no, 12.50 wide is plenty wide enough for them actually it looks proportional on a 37 as opposed to a 33

You're probably right, i know these 12.50s now do seem pretty wide on 33's.
