Well I have a flow 40 from my old exhaust I didn't like it so I cut it off and its sitting in my yard. My thought were I could weld/bolt that to the muffler that is on there now to help knock it down.

AHHHHH Grasshopper...people who pay you to plow out thier drives in the wee hours of the morning don't want to be awakened by a loud plow truck. Too bad no one told that before you bought the plow...
About the cheapest I could locate was a thrush turbo with a 14 inch case for around 26 bucks in Jegs. You might be able to find one locally for less. You need to run as much tailpipe as you can to help "peel off" the high end tones. Pointing the end downwards as it exits to the outside of the body will will keep any noise from being pointed at anyones ears.
I don't know if anyone offers a "crewchief" or universal oval style muffler any more, but if you could find one for your inlet diameter with a 14-18 inch case, that will quiet things down and probably be less restrictive than that glasspack you have.

I would think for 150 bucks you could find a muffler shop that would install a quieter muffler and a stock type tailpipe.

If you want it really quiet for cheap, go to the junkyard and pull a stock muffler off a late model 1/2 ton and have it welded in place of what you have now.
