Unhappy Need to quite down the exhaust.

Yes this is a very real question. I need to make my truck MUCH quiter in order to plow this winter. I wont get half of my accounts given to me if I don't do something. I need to cut the noise level by 50% at least. As of right now its pretty much dumped out of the muffler. I don't think If I extended the pipe and had it exit in the factory location it would quite it down enough. I don't want to switch back the the factory system. I'm looking for ideas to help shut it up but something easy to put on and off.

My ideas are put the flow 40 on there as well (I have it from my old ****master system) and extend the pipe other than that I don't have anything.

well you said you dont have much money but... get a cutout and attach it to a loud muffler and put your stock on also so you can switch back and forth.

those summit and jegs mufflers sound pretty good. not sure about the performance aspect of them, but i would assume they would be a pretty decent muffler.

Better answers may be forthcoming if you first define "cheap".
