visit the dealer and see what they will do for you. dash is about $400 list but can be had for $300 or somewhere in between.

the aftermarkets are almost as expensive and you still have to paint them.

You got quoted $400 by the dealer? My local dealer quoted me $800! Does my local dealer just suck or what? Actually, they do suck, but I didn't know they sucked that bad.

Check out eBay. I have been looking on there for one. There are some on there that are OEM for around $200-$300.

Here's a replacement ABS dash with a lifetime guarantee. Dash bezels are easier to find and I don't have any bookmarks on hand. If you find a good one at a good price, please post about it because I'll be needing one when I move on to fixing up the cosmetics on my truck.

I don't know if they've done anything to improve them or not, but I'm the once bitten twice shy sort so I'd not even try the OEM part. ABS is durable stuff so I see no reason to roll the dice at the dealership.

I've bumped into them when I've searched... let's see if I can reproduce my results now... oh hell. They're all covers. The one my '98 needs is $448.50 at MoparOnlineParts.com -- a mite steep, probably about what the dealership would want.

The wife's liable to question my sanity when I order up that piece.
