Default what could this be?

my truck sometimes misses third gear this is an auto with overdrive never any problems shifting or anything just ill be cruising and go to push it down more for passing power and my truck will go in neutral and i gotta let off and it shifts.. or from wot all the way to 3rd it does the same thing.. not always just ocassion.. im not sure what its from. could it be from my intake pushing on my tranny dipstick? or could i have messed something up while installing the throttlebody spacer + k&n intake? idk thats y im asking what could this be!! it only started after i installed them! and since it pushed on the tranny dipstick!

What possessed you to waste money on a throttle body spacer? They do absolutely nothing on our trucks.

As to the shifting problem.... are you getting a check engine light at all? When was the last time the tranny was serviced, and bands adjusted? (not that I think that is the root cause of the problem.....) Could be governor pressure sensor/solenoid, or a failing shift solenoid, or contaminants in the fluid, or just a poor connection at one of the electrical connectors.
