Have 'em both tested. Most any parts store should have the right tool for the job. They can load test the battery, and run a draw test on the starter. Should tell the tale.

I've had the same problem on mine since I bought it in March. Intermittent, at best, tho. 3mo ago, the starter checked out just fine, load test on the battery was fine. Ignition switch tested fine. I replaced the starter relay, and it seems to have resolved the issue. Fast-forward to yesterday, and the problem is back. I've switched the starter relay with another in the fuse panel, and didn't have issues with it today. Don't know why its doing this...........cheap Chinese parts?
