Default Sway Bar issue

So I was installing some Fisher Push plates on my truck this morning and upon reassmbly, I stripped out a sway bar mount on the drivers side. Both bolts are in on the passenger side but on the drivers side, one is tight, the other is completely stripped.

I need to do some driving tomorrow and I was wondering how serious this is??

Thanks for your input.

Not very! Some people on here have removed or disconnected it from the links with no ill effects.

Just completely remove the sway bar, and don't go road racing with the truck. You'll get more front-end roll, but not a frightening amount. When you have the time, throw a Heli-Coil into the stripped hole and put the bar back. Or don't, if you don't mind the front-end roll -- or like having more suspension travel when off-roading.

Thanks for the info and advice. I will probably remove it for peace of mind and try the heli-coil trick.

I'd probably fix your mount with that extra front weight on board. Sway bars are there for a reason.

i took mine off last year and can definitely tell a difference turning, BUT when i do my axle swap i got a HD rear dana 80 with a sway bar back there so, ill prob be putting both on since the paint will be done as well and no more offroading ='[
