Or two saw horses and a half a sheet of plywood if you don't have a picnic table.

Me too!!

Hughes Plenum kit came in today.

Pro tip: Make sure you dont unbolt the 10mm bolt that bolts the high and low pressure lines to the AC Compressor!!!

In my haste of unbolting stuff I got to the point of hearing a hiss!! - then shut it quickly!!

haha

you guys may want to inventory your order from Hughes... Mine was short, and I didn't discover it until the engine was stripped and I was ready to start putting her back together..

that, folks, is a bad time to find out you're short intake bolts..

Well, I did it this weekend. Not that bad.
Took me 9hrs workding at a very relaxed pace with several interuptions from friends and neighbors dropping in, and a few parts store runs.

Only snag was that I pulled the wiring guts out of the lead on the coolant temp sensor and had to replace it. Seeing that the parts store doesnt carry the connector I just used female blade connectors and did a little southern fixins to get it working.

Thanks for all the tips and advise.
Only time will tell if I did a good job..........

Did mine this past weekend too. Did you get Hughes to send you a plenum gasket or order it elsewhere? I got the whole kit from Hughes, plenum gasket was not what I was expecting. Just curious what you used.

I got it all from Hughes. The two plenum gaskets are a strange material, but thats typical for what I have seen in the past, and seemed to be the same as what was on there.

No biggie, I dont have any leakes.....yet.....

Need more explination than that. Does it turn over?

I would retrace your steps and make sure everything is put back:
Make sure all vacuum lines are connected and not broken and falling apart.
Make sure all sensors are pluged back in. (IAC, TPS, ect.)
See if you have fuel pressure.
Make sure the fuel relay is pluged back in. (if you removed it)
Did you pull any fuses?

yes engines cranks but will not fire.. check the fuel line at the rail and is full of fuel. never unplugged the relay(i dont think so anyway) and no i did not pull any fuses just had the neg off the battery
