the coil wire is an easy one to forget all tucked away like it is...
check the coil wire that powers the distributor too..
check firing order just in case...

did you pull the fuel line or pull the injectors out during the repair?
Are all the connectors well seated on the injectors?

i left the rails on and pulled the fuel line at the rail, tried to start and got nothing checked the line and it was full of fuel

you dang near had to remove the coil connector I'm thinking.. If I'm not greatly mistaken it comes out of the same harness your front cylinder passenger side fuel injector is in.. all of that hides nicely behind and a little below the alternator...

reasons for no start: Fuel, Electrical, Mechanical... Mechanically, I doubt you did that much not to at least see some fire.. Fuel, we're covering that as you have fuel in the rail at least.. (don't know if the injectors are delivering though) Electrical, it starts at the coil and goes to the distributor to the wires to the plugs.. Check your relays/fuses.. If you have fuel in the rail it sounds like your pump is working..

so you pulled the harness off your injectors if you left the rails on and just disconnected the fuel line.. It sounds electrical without having any fire at all.. if it's not the coil wire and you checked your firing order, then I'm going to back off for someone else to toss some recommendations at you.

Is the ground wire at the end of the driver side fuel rail harness connected back on the bolt by the power steering pump?
