who has electric start ?
Got a bulldog the moment i got my ram, mostly because there was no remote for my auto locks. So i figured why the hell not, bulldog was 150. Had it for 4 years, no problems or complaints yet.
I boiught one from autozone. But there is a PLETHORA of wires. Especially if you already have remote door locks. You need to splice those wires into the locks, the alarm system (and in most cases buy another box to override the factory security system). Then you nneed to splice into the ignition.
Too much for me to mess up. It is about $79 in autozone.
Just get an engine block heater. Much cheaper and easier.

I have one made by DEI .. been working great for over eight years..just not a good range on the antenna.. the newer ones have much better range... I am working on that tho! DEI makes Viper, Python, Prestige..etc
If i were you, id go with a Viper 5901 system.. thats what i bought for my truck and put it on last spring... i paid like $225 for the system and installed it myself to save an extra $300... it took me about a week, but thats because of a few different reasons, id say it took me close to 20 hours of work, and im not gonna lie.. it was intimidating, and relatively hard, but as long as you know basic wiring skills you could probably handle it.. but i had my truck torn apart to do it all.... the system is great though, the alarm is awesome, i added a glass break sensor and and tilt sensor on it for more protection, and i use the remote start all the time... works great and you can do so much with it...
DirtyDog turned me on to these guys, ordered one for my wifes Jeep the other day. Supposed to be pretty close to plug and play. Giv'em a call and talk to Derek.

C. While in Service mode, whenever a remote start attempt is made, the horn will chirp and the lights will flash 3 times alerting the user that the
