You can attempt to re-use the sleeves that are on there, but, they are a drag to get loose...... Chemicals, heat, and a vice come in real handy.

Okay I need to order two adjusting sleeves, and they are the same part number for each side, correct? And sorry, my books and the rock auto website don't really mention little things like that.

As for the steering dampener/stabilizer, I'm going to find one somewhere else than rock auto, I've seen them cheaper at other places.

Alright, now as for doing the brakes, I'm trying to make sure that I'm getting all the parts down that I need to.

Front Brakes:
Rotor
Pads Do you guys still like the thermoquiets? are there any other favorites?
Calipers?
and Brake fluid

Rear Brakes:
Drums
Shoes
Adjusting Screw assembly
Adjusting spring kit
Hardware kit
and do I need a self adjuster repair kit?

Let me know if I'm missing things or if one of those drum kits/assemblies has the same parts as one of the others. I'm pretty much assuming that I'll need to replace most of that stuff when I get in there. The mechanic also said that they could see that someone else (previous owner) tried to beat the rusted drum off, and probably gave up. Will any brake parts cleaner do? Or is there a specific brand to use? I know that I am only supposed to use brake parts cleaner for brake parts, so I definitely want a good one.

Thanks again guys for all of your help!

By the way guys, I was building my cart at the Checker/O'Reilly website, and I found that the Master Pro and Moog tie rod ends have the exact same part number. I guess Moog is the same exact thing as Master Pro, except for the price.

not necessarily. lots of different places use the same part number, including tie rod ends, track bar, ball joints, brake parts.

That's what I though at first, but all the parts other than moog and master pro have different part numbers. Then again, if I owned master pro, I would give my parts the same number as moog to steal some of their business.

Also, do I need to get calipers?

Okay, I've ordered my parts! But, I can't seem to find a pitman arm. Where can I get a decent one at? The only place I've found them at was autozone(duralast crap). Everything else says it's for a two wheel drive. Are they the same? I'm gonna guess no, but why would everyone carry the part for 2WD only?
