Default 1999ram4x4 5.9360 p/up water temp 210?

Ok sooooo I took out my 318 3 years ago and put in a 360 from a rolled 2wheel drive.
Had a lil more power and loved it. Eng starting running hot and found out we had
small cracks between the valve. w/ a wife and 6 kids and an X wife I attempted to get out
as cheap as possiable . I bought a head set and three diff sets of heads to find out
they all were cracked.
Found a 99' 360that had been pulled from a good running and in a mans shop on a stand.
I bought it preety cheap"$350.00"
Just talked to my buddy that put it in and she's running 200 and climbed to 210 on the water temp.

O no--- here we go again.
New water pump. new thermostate. Man swore up and down good eng.

Broke and frustrated!!!!

ANy help???

When was the last time your rad was serviced (run descaler through it)? It may not be your engine that is the culprit. What type of thermostat are you running, i have got through 3 back to back cheapies before I bought a Stant that actually worked properly. What condition is your rad cap in? Is the water pump working properly?

It is a brand new w/ pump and I made sure I bought a stant thermo.
The radiator was brand new about 3 years ago and looks good.

Unless there is fluid spewing every where, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are just going by the gauge on the dash, forget it! They are not very accurate.

What zman17 said. If you want to measure it, just hold a multimeter temperature probe to the base of the water neck (thermostat housing) and add a few degrees to that measurement.
