This happened to me. Sometimes the dist cap OR spark plugs "spit out" the connections like a baby spitting out pureed green beans.

You can drive your truck with ONE spark plug disconnected with the same symptoms you have said. The idle will sound like a race car, and when you drive it, it seems like something is wrong.

It happens. Just go over the wire connections on the dist and plugs.

BTW, your engine is clean, you can tell you chance your oil.

Well, I'm in Canada so if I can, I try and order from shops in Canada to avoid the hefty fees I pay when such items cross the border. Plus they typically have to ship to New Brunswick unless I'm in the area (such as now)

Ok, just checking... but you can use the stock valve covers with these, right?
