Default Brake question

Hey guys. i have a slight brake question. my front brakes are just about worn out, and i want to go with EBC brake pads/rotors next. my question is...what are the best pads for my use? i occasionally drive a bit over the posted limit, i tow often, and i plow all winter long. are there better brakes than ebc? ive heard alot of good stuff about them, and i dont really know any other good brands besides brands like brembo, wilwood etc. any help or criticism is appreciated. thanks.

I used advance auto's carbon ceramic premium pads on my firebird, which has crappy brakes from the factory. Made a world of difference, even on stock rotors.

I will be getting in some of the cragar cryogenic rotors. Slotted, and cross drilled. I will let you know.

Ussually people do one of two things:

1. Get better rotors and use middle of the road pads
2. Get better pads and keep the stock rotors.

Stay away from the autozone ceramics. They have a powder coating on the hardware and it made them not fit. Maybe it was a bad set, but that was the only set they had. I went with the duralast golds and I don't really like them. But they did help.

MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR BRAKE PAD SEATING:

drive, accelerate to 60 MPH, slow down, but don't stop completely. Then go back to 60 MPH and slow down. Then stop completely.

Then repeat.
