Trust me it can be any wire you mistakenly left up pluged, take your time and check again..wires; coil, spark, throttle body, distributor, etc.. check check check

do you have the digital odometer, and does it say "no bus" ?

check the grounds on the power steering bracket. there is about 3 of them in a wad.
check the wire under the bottom of the distributor body. make sure its not pinched under the intake, or unplugged.
injectors all plugged in?
does you dome light work ? that's clue on IOD fuse.
check throttle position sensor plug on drivers side of throttle body.
check IAC plug on rear of throttle body.

can you hear the fuel pump winding up at ignition on.
do you have a schrader valve on fuel rail. using rag, do you have fuel pressure.
do you have spark at the plugs.
do you have 12 volt at the coil.

thanks everyone for your quick responses-got it running last night after a run to the autozone. had no spark at the plugs but had spark at the coil (used the viking way of testing that...OUCH) what is that like 2000 volts!?!?! So I pulled the cap off and found that i broke the metal contact of the end of the rotor, most likely when i pried up on the manifold it rocked back just enough to snap it. So 21 bucks later and 45 mins of rerunning all the spark plug wires shes good to go.

Just one ? though, the idle is at 1000 rpms and used to be at 800. Is this normal after redoing the manifold. Maybe thats were it should have been the whole time I dont know?!?

Thanks again

glad you got it fixed.

depending on temperature, my 01 will cold idle at about 1000 and then slowly drop down to a warm idle of about 600.

viking way huh? so you did a voltage test and a heart stress test at the same time.
