Others will chime in, and if you do a search here on DF, you will find a lot of info about the subject, but, it seems to me that you have the exhaust opened up too much.

I echo HeyYou's thoughts, what intake did you install?

Dual 2.5" pipes is quite large for a mostly stock truck. Dual 2.25" is pretty much as large as you should go even for a mildy modified truck, or a single 3". You may have to spend some more money on upgrades to catch the engine up to that large of an exhaust.

Its a 95, so it shouldn't be able to have the deathflash since its OBDI, right?

Instead of doing the intake, you might look at a plenum, MOPAR performance PCM, Harland Sharp 1.7 roller rockers, 50 or 52mm throttle body, kegger mod, throw some 4.10 gears back there....I'm sure there's other stuff I'm missing.

If you did all that, it might make things interesting, thats for sure.

with NO CAT your downstream O2 sensor is picking up rich. SO it is compensating by not putting in as much fuel. Take it off completely (O2 sensor) and it will default to rich to prevent detonation.

You need an O2 simulator from www.thefastman.com

THe mods you did will not do much for power. You need to spend abo0ut 2K to see something (1.7s, plenum fix, and a SCT).

And I don;t think anyone knows what the hell a "Short Ram Intake" is.

^I'm thinking the short ram is an intake with a large diameter, short tube....supposedly gives a ram air effect.
I may be wrong though.
