Default first DIY writeup on-line...

Water pump DIY writeup...

I can also do a plenum gasket replacement, timing chain replacement and head swap writeup when time permits... I have about 50~60 pics that I took during the head swap that could be useful to someone doing any of that kind of work.

Also, if anyone is interested, I can include the kegger mods in the plenum gasket replacement writeup.

actually, those would be great to have. I used to use the latex gloves and they work great fo keeping the hands clean but don't do much for the cuts. I had plenty of them too...

I can do that as well, however adjusting them can be a pain and I have a method that should make it real easy, I just need to experiment with it and find out if it will work good or not. most likely in a couple of weeks I'll have that one written. I'm working on the plenum DIY writeup now...

I'll be very interested in this one. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be doing this next week. I am now getting pinging, engine knock, and oil loss. So I guess its time to tear it down and replace the plenum gasket. I'm gonna do it right and get the aftermarket kit with the aluminum plate.

pm me with an e-mail address and I'll send you what I have so far, it's about 85~90% complete with the major stuff that needs to be done, including pics.

Also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Do you have the aluminum plenum kit yet? if not, get it 1st otherwise you'll be doing the job again. Search for the post of the plenum leaking that I posted, it had a pic of the plenum after the intake was removed from the truck and it had the updated metal gasket from dodge... still failed. and it's all from the steel plate on the bottom... switch it to aluminum.

Fastman was a little back logged on TB but it will ship Monday, we kept playing phone tag, I read him the wrong CC # but its all good now, will let everyone know how the TB works out, while I had him on the phone I asked about an air intake kit, he informed me that unless Im pushing over 3000 RPM on the tach the stock intake should do fine but maybe drop in a K&N free flow just in case I tach it higher, so I will look at that later, but may just drop in the air filter now, these $200.00+ mods start adding up, will let ya know how it works out
