Question 4.10 gears and posi tomorrow need help

Really thinking about going with 4.10 gears tomorrow
I'm going to be running on stock rims and tires. Did your top speed change, how is it on your daily driver, all the advice would be helpfull

By stock do you mean 265 or 245?

Damn. 245's are gonna make it rev high on the highway. In the city you'll be golden though.


4.10's + 245's + mods you already have= very interesting.

it is not that bad, the revving on the HWY.

I owned a 1996 4x4 with 3.55s and then a 2001 off road with 4.10s AT THE SAME TIME, and the mileage was only 2 MPG less with the 2001 (also the 5.9, as opposed to the 5.2 in my 1996).

Also, it was not that bad on the HWY with revving. It was MUCH better when towing.

SIMPLY PUT:
If possible, i will always get a truck with 4.10s (Unless it is a Turbodiesel, they come with 3.93s)
