Default No start driving me crazy

Hey guys. I'm pretty sure this is my first post but I have a problem that is driving me crazy. My 1995 Ram 2500, 5.9 (VIN Z), NV4500, 4x4 is having some issues. Namley the fact that it won't start/restart (if it starts). Here are the parts I have replaced.......pickup coil, crank pos sensor, both temp senders, cpu, key swith, coil, O2, cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction here. If the truck does start it will run great untill after it warms up then it starts to back pop through the exaust and act like it is dropping a few cylinders. It might not restart for a week, it might be 10 min. There are never any codes thrown. There must be a wire breaking down somewhere but everything I chased has continuity. Possibly an ASD problem? I won't be able to work on anything till next weekend so any input between now and then is much appreciated.

Have you check the fuel pressure with a gauge?

Yes. Fuel pressure and compression are both good. The injectors are not being grounded by the pcm according to the noid light. There just has to be something I'm missing

I know people are gonna laugh at me, but this might be your issue.

This is on the passenger side of the firewall. My truck has the same symptoms as yours. This is normally covered with a plastic bag. If I leave it uncovered for to long the truck won't start and if it does start it runs bad. Now when covered no starting issues.

That would be a pic of a cpu, an OBD II from the looks of it. That has been replaced on my truck with no change in symtoms. I can't think of any good reason there should be a bag over it. All the externally mounted computers are pretty water resistant. The one in my 99 has survived many dunkings.

Honestly I can't say either. It's perfectly fine. It's been looked at end test. Everything it fine.

Where did you get your sensors from, and are you sure they are good? It really sounds like a bad crank, or cam position sensor. But, you have replaced both.... if they were generic auto parts store peices..... that might be the whole problem. The dodge trucks are EXTEMELY sensitive about their sensors, more so than any other vehicle I have worked on. If you didn't get them from the dealer, you might want to.....

They were AC Delco from Rock auto. I at least figured that they would be high quality. I also tried a salvage yard replacement for each from a known running truck. Same as CPU. It helps to have a friend that lets me try parts even if he won't part the truck.
