Absolutley, like I said, I won't discount K&N's reputation as they are a great company and stand behind their products, I have bought, and will continue to buy their products. Just for this application I felt the S&B's price and design was a better fit for me.

The Scangauge 2, this is an amazing device, when I get out of class I will go more into depth, but you can get it at StylinTrucks.com, Autozone, and a few other placed. I freaking love the thing. It basically just plugs into your OBD2 port and measures every sensor in your truck. So you get Intake Air temperature, volts, how many gallons til empty, Instaneous MPG, Average MPG (Which is extremely accurate within 1mpg consistently of doing it by hand), RPM, Horsepower(this is a cool function), it also clears and checks engine codes, keeps a log of your driving style, and actually teaches you how to get better MPG, and it does a ton of other readings. It also has a customizable LCD screen so you can make it any color you want to match your gauges or stereo, and it displays 4 gauges at a time. It is about $160 from any of the places I mentioned.

There is a few Youtube videos on it that shows what it can do.

This pic was taken as we were coming to a stop in Islamorada in the Florida keys, you can see by the MPH

Cool, yeah that thing looks like a handy dandy. So would I be able to use with the Hypertech tuner I have now? I mean since the scangauge is not an actual programmer/tuner?

Its wireless or some thing? looks like you have something in your OBDII but the reader is by the mirror

Yeah it is just a bunch of gauges compacted into one device, I wish it did tranny temp, but that's okay I have an analog gauge for that.

No it won't interfere with your Hypertech, it is basically just an LCD screen for your PCM, just displays whats going on in your vehicle. I have it on with my SCT.

It's not wireless, I ran the cable from the OBD2 port up my A pillar, under the headliner, and down to the mirror.
