Default Dodge ram Po441 code

I have a 1997 dodge ram 4x4 360 I keep getting a po441 code, Dealer has replaced purge vapor valve , canister, blew out lines from the manufold to the canister. cheaked all lines for leaks and replaced Gas cap. Stiil every week code is set.Can anyone tell me if i hook up a vacuum gauge to the line from the purge valve to the canister should it hold vacuum.

Mine does not. A vacuum line leaves the manufold and goes to the purge valve. a line leaves the valve and goess to the canister spits and goes to the fuel pump rollover valve. Leaving the canister is a hose that goes to a vent. It does not have a vacuum switch on it. The only thing I can see that could set the po441 code is the map sensors must detect a drop or something. anyone have any other ideas. I had it at the deal three time no luck.

Default po441

Yes I have read this, and replace every item. Trying to find anyone that knows how to check (pressure or Vacuum) from the hose at the purge valve.
I put smoke into hose and it came out the canister vent valve, (the canister is new) so when the vapor purge valve come on it pull air through the canister
through the vent valve. Is this normal. I take it if the canister is working
there should be min flow through canister. I'm trying to find someone who knows the operation of this closed loop system. No luck so far.

That's a third gen. Posting in the third gen boards would be more productive.

I know this sounds simple and stupid, but it happened to me. I had the same code. Took it and had the same repairs you did.

Light came back on again and took it back. They said it was just some charcoal that must have been stuck in the line and passed into the purge solenoid. Cleaned it and put it back.

Light came back on again. By this time I was sick of taking it back. I started poking around and found the small piece of rubber hose on the throttle body was cracked. I fixed and reset the light.

Light came back on again. Now I was pissed. I looked at the old solenoid and it is clearly marked "UP", "TOP", and "BOTTOM". Also one of the nipples is marked "VAC".....that is the one that routes to the throttle body. They had the solenoid in upside down thus the lines were hooked up at the wrong nipples.

Check those things to make sure you are ok.
