Yeah, the Dodges seem to be rather sensitive to aftermarket parts. They don't really like them at all. More so than any other brand I have ever worked on.

Nope it's good. I'm starting to think one of my wires frayed in my transmission pan and it causing the TC to come in and out of lock up. That what that one guy had wrong with his. Zman17 posted it on here for me. Also. I have the tv cable back pretty good, but when I floor my truck it hesitates to go. It jerks real bad. It diden't do this before I messed with that stupid cable, lol. Any tricks?

The hesitation on hard acceleration would point toward the TPS, or, possibly low fuel pressure.......

Dropping the pan, changing the fluid and filter, and inspecting those wires really wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I feel like you guys are not reading the POST right. This did not do it BEFORE I adjusted the TV cable. I don't have the TV cable adjusted right. All I want to know is if there are any tricks to adjusting it almost perfectly?

If the TV cable is close to where it needs to be, it's not the problem.

That link assumes you are starting out with the factory set cable. So I gave him the factory setting link. It's very easy to adjust, if you look on the black plastic clip, you can see a mold seam that is centered on the socket. Unclip the white plastic clip and move the cable until that line is lined up with the metal ball on the TB lever. Make sure the spring is on the tranny end of the cable lever. You should be able to pull the black clip at the TB end of the cable and it should go back in when you let go.

I think that spring is the only part on a Dodge Ram that does not rust LOL so it should be good

Hey zman17 thanks for the help. The cable that I messed with (that I can't get right lol) is attached to the TB on the passenger side. I'm lost on how to get it back to almost perfect. You said something about a mold seam?
