Default governor pressure sensor & solenoid

Hello everyone,
I have begun rebuilding my tranny. I bought the sonnax sure cure kit, and the deluxe rebuilding kit off of ebay and have a question about the governor pressure sensor & solenoid gm conversion. I have read the articles and am getting a little light headed about it. Should I do it because I have everything in front of me right now apart or is it really not necessary??

The gm system is more reliable. No better time than the present.

It's not necessary, so to speak. I'd put new one's in though. If and when they go bad, it's not a big deal to replace them. If you want to get it back together and don't want to wait, just install new OEM for now, and down the road you can change over. Easy, as long as you install a drain plug in the pan.
