If you dont plan on working on the truck, dont buy one with known problems, the second truck was decent price if it was in good running order, but how do you not know if the windows work....thats enough to keep looking

I test drove the black Ram again, in my first post.
The WHINE it LOUD!!!!
It is just quite enough to hear the person next to you talking!

Not getting it! I am sure its the rear diff.
So I get back and ask the guy what speed does it do it the worst, and he says he doesn't know. haha..yea right

He said he drove it 3k miles. Anyway he said it was worst around 55mph but it is unbearable to me around 35-45mph

Anyways, I know this next truck isn't a dodge, so please don't be biased.
Its a 1987 Chevy.
I trust this guy more than anyone, a few years ago he found my mom a 92 Camaro for $800! Hasn't had a problem, her DD and only painted it.

Anyway the truck looks like the link below. What do yall think? Would insurance be cheaper on this? He fixed it up and painted it himself. Said since it was me he would sell it for $3000
And he does help out people he knows

Well I don't know if this is good or not..
Link below. Found the Ram on Craigslist but its a dealer..again..
Well I wen't over to the dealer, everything was good. A/C was cold, didn't make any noises, the windows worked good(Power) only wear was really on bolster on drivers seat. Which is pretty much expected. And a few dents on a pillar right before the bed on passengers side.
Only bad thing..It has 185k miles on it. What do yall think? It also has the big boy, the 5.9l V-8..how bad is the gas and what about insurance?

Seems like a nice truck for 3,000. Yeah it's high mileage but that is probably what is getting the price down, I don't think you need to be scared of the high mileage, these trucks can last a long time if properly maintained.

I think insurance varies a lot depending where you live. I just picked up a 95 ram, it's v10 and 4x4, and liability is $86/mo, full coverage was $100/mo. I would expect a v8 4x2 to be slightly less than that. I'm 30 though, insurance is so much worse when your 16... I would just call your insurance company and give them the VIN, they give you a quote real quick.

Alright, below is the first pic
I took of it. Its pretty dirty, can't tell in pic. No mud, but looks like dust is all over it.
Gona wash it tomorrow, just got back from autozone and spent $70, on some awesome wax, mits, pads, shammy, polish compound for scratches, wheel cleaner and shine, etc.
Gona detail it tomorrow, probably start at 4 and finish close to 7.

It is a 99, only 2wd, but thats what I was planning with a Ram to. Has the 4.6 V-8 with 179k miles. But it runs amazing, the guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He changed his own oil and all that stuff I'm going to do.
