Default Bedliners

Has anyone used any of the spray on bed liners like the one from Rust-Oleum? I am looking to do the bed of my truck the most inexpensive way. Let me know if you used any of these and how much is needed to cover a short bed or if you have any other suggestions. Tired of the bed looking like crap compared to the rest of the truck.

anything you use will work...it all depends on how you prep it first...if you dont sand it enough the bedliner will chip off over time...

get plenty of sandpaper, and make sure the surface is very clean, then put on a coat, let it dry overnight, and then do another coat.

I bought the Rustoleum bed liner in the gallon bucket and found it the cheapest at Walmart. They also sell the kit that comes with a pan, roller brush, paint brush, and something to sand it with at Auto Zone. Auto Zone also sells gallon buckets but it costs about $20 more. Walmart is also the cheapest for the spray cans as well if you don't want to deal with painting it out but it costs about twice as much. Paid less than $60 for 1 gallon and the kit.

I Herculined mine a long time ago. Everything you need comes in the box. As 95ram said, it's all in the preparation. I did one coat and let it dry over night and then did the 2nd coat the next day. It's still holding up well.

Was not very impressed with the roll on herculiner that we did on my dads truck, its coming off faded bad, going to do the duplicolor bed armor on my truck after it gets painted, have used the duplicolor truck bed coating spray can for all sorts of things and couldnt be happier with the results and durability

Hows the longevity of these DIY bedliners? That's one thing that really concerns me.
