i bought a 8" super lift from a guy that like brand new and he said all the parts are there but i want to make sure before i put it on i have

6"coils, 2inch coil spacers,upper and lower links,8"drop pit-man arm, adjustable track bar, 4 shock absorbers, 4" blocks,4"heavy duty add a leaf, dual steering stabilizer. is that everything i need for the lift or is there more stuff or anything else that would be good to put on it

All the nut's and bolts, brake line stuff, transfercase index ring, Ubolts for rear diff, It could be a big list of parts and you or us will have no idea what parts you are missing.

Under NO circumstances are lift coil springs to be used in conjunction with any type of
coil spring or spring tower block/spacer. The use of coil spring block/spacers will allow ANY coil spring to exceed its designed stress and travel loads allowing it be overstressed, oversprung,fatigued, and possibly break.

 

so i need some 8" coils then.....

 

Well yes, But the thing is that as far as I know nobody makes a 8" spring. The biggest is Skyjacker 7" spring, I sure you can just buy the springs, like $200. That should work out good with the rest of your stuff.

Maybe I am not sure on that one, If you can will it be cost effective? I would get the 7" springs and remove one small leaf spring from the back pack(in theory each spring gives you 1" lift)this should make the truck sit level.

Not sure how it will turn out, But I will help him as best I can. I'll never buy used lift kit just for this reason. Piecing a lift kit together is not good practice.

Since you build them then you know how important it is to have all the parts to do it right.
