Default shock question

i am going to get new shocks for my truck and was wandering if i need 2-3 inch lift shocks or 4-6 inch lift shocks. i have a off-road edition with a 2 inch level kit so that would make the total front lift around 3.5 to 4 right?

See if they list a different number for the Off Road edition... if they don't, then go with the three to four inch lift shocks. Make sure the shocks have enough compression travel, that you are NOT using them as bump stops though.

Measure the distance to the bumpstop, and just over that is your collapsed number. Buy the the shock with that or larger collapsed measurement, and it won't bottom out. If they both work, buy the longer shock. Although you'll want to watch your droop (if you wheel it) that your brake lines aren't pulled tight.
