Default Take a look at my list

ok guys so i was gonna do the 5" lift with some 35s but i decided she needed some tender love and care first. so this is what im thinkin.
1. Plenum kit
2. Kegger Mod
3. Fastman TB
4. Summit shorty headers
5. Mopar Valve Covers
6. SCT Tuner
Tell me what you think. I figured it would be better to get all my power back so i can turn those 35s when i get them. Later Guys.

Add 4.10's or 4.56's to that list, too.

this is just my opinion... take it fwiw...

1- absolutely
2- maybe.. I don't know how much that helped mine, and it's hard to tell cause I did it when I did the hughes plate..
3. I'd NOT do this, but save the $$ for some gears.. gears is where it's at with bigger tires..
4- I put Heddman headers on- shorties.. I would tell you to put this off and get long when you can.. toss this $$ at the gears too..
5- they are around $250.. I'd put another $100 in the pot and get H&S 1.7's instead, and just reuse the factory covers..
6. this should be second on your list.. just sayin.. :-)

good luck man!!!

i knew someone would say something about the gears, i think im gonna do gears last, after the 35s are on and i see how they roll.
If i got longtube headers, what all must be done toe get them to fit? just cut and weld the y-pipe to the collector?
Id love to hear someone;s opinion on the kegger mod.
And as for the valve cover i wanna spice up the looks some along with the headers.

gears should be first on your list. they WILL destroy your transmission. i put 35's on my truck with the stock gears and my transmission went. so if you decided to put 35's on your stock gears make sure to have a couple thousand saved up to have your trans rebuilt.

How many O2 sensors in your exhaust?

Long tubes will require some changes to the exhaust..... might wanna budget for doing a complete exhaust system with those. Not sure about where you are, but, here, if you supply the headers, and cats, you can get a custom exhaust bent up and installed for under 200......

Trouble with the kegger mod is..... folks usually do it when they are also fixing a blown plenum.... so, 'real world results' on JUST that mod, are going to be hard to come by. I did mine just because it made sense to do so. Did it give me any more power/torque by doing so? I don't know, my plenum was badly blown.....

also, after you fix the plenum, like dodge ram said, do a full tune up check they cat, make sure you replace your o2 sensors! a bad plenum will eat the o2 sensors.

Here is my suggestion im gonna twist your numbers just a tad
1. yeah do the plenum because regardless if you think its blown or not, good peace of mind
2. you got it all apart why the hell not
6. Got a link for this one http://www.hemifevertuning.com/Default.asp
7. added this number and it is gonna be your gears, my suggestion 4.56 to get them tires moving with ease will save all driveline components
3. good idea heard allot of good things about I just cant see myself spending that much on it
4. upgrading to headers yet keeping it affordabe not a bad idea at all
5. Um.....not a perfomance mod just a looks kinda thing, i dont spend allot of time with my hood open, so I dont see spending that much money on valve covers it would be one thing if they were 50 bucks a pop....use this money on gears
