NOO don't ask me I have never messed with projectors. But I have been researching them. The ones that are "made" for our trucks are junk. At least from what I can tell. Really, the only way I can see anybody getting a badass projector with badass light output would be to have some made out of, say the $90 eBay housing or your stock housing. There is this guy (http://www.lightwerkz.net/gallery/ma...g2_itemId=4157) who makes some of the SICKEST projectors I have ever seen. Look at the ones he did for the Ram. And the light output. But this kind of conversion cost upwards of $800 for a set. Really, your best bet would be to either live with what is offered (cheaply) for our trucks, sacrifice $800 for custom ones, or run HID's with clear housings like I do. HID's will throw light everywhere without a projector, but it's not all that bad. Goodluck.

There is a shop down the road who does headlight conversions, but from what I understand it's pricy. They take projectors and the leveling systems out of high end cars, and drop them into whatever housings. Its all custom work tho, so there's no such thing as spare parts. My advice would just to invest in some HID Driving lights. The dodge I just picked up has 2 55 watt hidizzles behind the grille, and its pleanty of light. Hell, my expy only has 4 HID's and I race it.

I'm very happy with my PIAA Xtreme White Plus lamps inside the factory housings. They're expensive for lamps but they light up the road nicely, especially on high beam. I haven't noticed the "slight blue tint" they claim to have, and didn't really want it anyway so all's good.

They don't throw the light of HID's, but when I get my new front bumper with light buckets I'll put in some shrub igniters to make up the difference.

I have the cheap SONAR projectors with HIDs. The black and blue wires must be switched to get it to work properly with our factory plug.

The light pattern is a little sloppy, but much better than any halogen bulb I've ever used.
