This website has a few pictures to detail what I am talking about: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...nversions.html

HAHAHAHA, I'd turn on my PIAA's if I saw someone with **** poor HIDs aimed comming at me. You'd never believe how many trucks and cars run around here with illegal HID's installed. And the worst part is I've never heard of anyone getting pulled over for it. What is the cop going to do? Pop your hood and check your lights? No.
Theres a jackass with 12K's in his chevy around here and I don't know the **** he gets away with it but Ive seen him a few times the the past year still driving with those pieces of **** installed. For christ sake they don't even look like lights, they look like 2 blobs of purple comming at you. I don't honestly know how the guy even sees with them.

So a projector style light housing with the HID conversion should give you the correct light focus? Or are the projector style light housings still designed for a halogen bulb and not HID?

You need an HID projector, so 100% of the crap on ebay will not work. The only way to do it correctly is to retrofit real HID projectors into housings. This is still illegal by the way.

It's still illegal but will work and look 100% better than stock housings.

Putting HID's in a car that did not come from the factory with them is illegal, regardless...if you aim them correctly to where they do not blind oncoming traffic most cops will not bother you, if they blind the cops they will make sure to pull you over, and yes a projector headlight housing will be better than nothing just aim it right
