Have loads of fun at Lackland Airplane Patch! Don't forget to keep a good sense of humor, but always avoid showing that you're entertained by the TI's doing their level best to be intimidating with great loads of bluff, bluster, and BS.

Air Force Basic Training is easy. Just remember, its all a big mind game. Never volunteer for anything, and do what you are told, as soon as you are told to do it. Do things THEIR way, and you will be just fine.

I had fun. Of course, that was back in 1980.....

Good luck to you. Thank you for serving. My time in the Navy was enjoyable, I know you will enjoy your time as well.

That's when I was there, in the 3701st from late September through mid-November. I thought it was great fun, but most of the other guys in my flight didn't seem to be enjoying it at all.
