Raise the center of gravity of the truck? Make it useless for carrying any load at all? Make it much more prone to rolling on corners? Also make it useless for towing anything? Putting some serious kinks in the suspension geometry? (track bar, drag link...)

Sure, you can fit some bigger tires under there, but, do you have the gears to go with those bigger tires? You have D60's at least.... so, gear options are at least available....

What do you plan to do with the truck? What size tires do you want to fit?

I think the guy wants it higher because he simply likes the look . Towing, handling(some how I doubt he drives his truck a 100mph,like some other members here, and I'm not talking about the members that drag race at the strip) and loading it with anything is a non factor here. I'd love to raise mine 12"s, but mine has a different purpose.

Woah, you serious guy? It will clear bigger tires?
It's a Ram, not a Komatsu. So pointless.

No one on here is a fan of body lifts, but I suspect everyone will agree that adding a 3" body lift is going to be safer. Not to mention easier, cheaper, faster.

Well the OP said he had a 5in suspension lift and a total of 8inches of lift, so i would assume he already has the 3in body

Opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one, and everyone thinks everyone else stinks.

To the OP - do whatever you want to your truck. It's yours... do whatever makes ya happy. Try not to make it turn out like this stuff

+1... But somehow I don't think he'll be back. Even if he does have a blown plenum.

not sure what's up with all the negitivity, but like said, its you truck and do what makes you happy, and who cares if someone else doesnt like it,

just an idea, here is what i did with my 75, all chromemolly heims, and they are semi bags, but they were free, so they got used, i have a small 12 volt, (pacbrake) compressor, there is a load valve in line, so it always stays at the set height no matter how much weight you add or take off of it, and with the trun of a screwdriver, i can set the rear bumper just a few inches from the ground, or get the bottom of the bumper somewhere around 5-6 feet off the ground where the drive shaft binds, but of course i dont do that, it stays at its set height, but it could be adjusted anywhere in between there if i desired
