Question Block drain plug?

Does anyone know the thread dimension of the block drain plug on a 5.9L gas engine? I checked the FSM, and I couldn't find it.

The reason I am asking, is that I found bought a hotstart tank heater. Their instructions make it look like it comes with everything you need... plastic tee, hose clamps and a threaded nipple to put in place of a drain plug. It did not.

Thanks,
Cartman

Some flavor of pipe thread would be my guess. 3/8, or 1/2 NPT?
