Default Governor Solenoid Info

I replaced my gov. sensor and solenoid a couple weeks ago, and was just now doing some straightening up of the garage, came across the box that the solenoid came in,I purchased from a local tranny shop. Was about to throw it away and noticed a paper inside. There is interesting info on that paper

And the statement that it delivers the same benefits as expensive aftermarket adapter kits (gm conversion I'll assume).

Did it look beefier out of the box? If you would of never found that paper, would you have been able to tell the difference? I wonder what MonteC have to say about that.

Great find J. That is the exact box the one I got came in, not the red white and black box BW parts come in from advance auto or wherever.

I've been curious to find where they sell them, but O'Rielys doesn't carry them anymore. Before Kragen was bought out by O'Rielys, they use to carry them...not anymore.

That line of Borg Warner is not made for retail outlets. You'll have to get it from a tranny shop.
