ABS and Air Bag Light problem !!!

Default ABS and Air Bag Light problem !!!

When I go to slow down or stop the ABS and Air Bag light come one and the RPMS and speedometer go to zero. Whats going on here ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !

It is most likely the Vehicle Speed Sensor, located on top of the rear end. Several people have had this problem and replacing the VSS usually does the trick. My dad just replaced one in his 99 Ram a few days ago and it fixed it, same things you mentioned with the lights on and speedo not working...

Hmm ill check that out. Thanks alot !!! Also, I have two ground wires on the passenger side up on the firewall that are juss hanging there ... are these suppose to go somewhere. My dads truck they have them running behind the valve covers and then idk where ... any clues on this !!!

Probably go to the back of the cylinder head. Should be a stud, or something, back there for them to bolt too. Just darn near impossible to see.

Yes. Grounds should be... well.... grounded. find a spot, hook 'em up.

One goes to the back of the head and the other goes too a valve cover bolt.
