I used the Crystal View Chemicals headlight restoration kit and have been very pleased with the results. I'd guess that most commercial products are about the same.
I work at a parts store and have heard fairly equal reviews for all of them to be honest. If it were me I'd probably buy the 3m or meguiars version though.
Just did mine with the 3M kit from advanced auto, about $20, but well worth it. Very nice result and ALOT cheaper then the $143.00 replacement housing.
